About rachel

Rachel serves with OMF International (US) as well as Global Frontier Missions. She serves the communities of East Asia by coordinating short-term placements for those with a passion to serve among the least reached. Aditionally, she is living in and serving in Atlanta, GA among the refugee and immigrant populations, sharing the Good News and making disciples, and preparing others for long-term cross-cultural ministry.

Pokot People

About the Davis'

Art is a third-generation missionary. Mary Ellen grew up in the southern end. They married in 1965, became active at Bethel. In 1972, they moved to Kenya to serve the Pokot people. At Orus, our outreach and ministry among the Pokot was greatly enhanced by the drilling of boreholes. The Pokot church is now led by nationals from the area and new churches being planted further afield from where we started.

Our three children – Kristin, Karen and Jeff, are all involved in missions or NGO work. We have four grandchildren. We currently live in Florida and still support and encourage the Pokot Church.
